[ARCHIVED] Public Events and Survey Planned to Gather Community Input for the Town of Sykesville’s Comprehensiv

The Town of Sykesville is holding virtual community events during the month of October to encourage public engagement in the development of the Town’s 2030 Comprehensive Plan, a 10-year planning document that will identify and prioritize the Town’s goals and opportunities over the next decade.

“We are committed to improving the quality and vitality of the Town of Sykesville and value the direction the Sykesville 2030 Comprehensive Plan will provide us as we invest in our future”, said Mayor Shaw. “We encourage our residents and stakeholders to make their voices heard as we embark on this forward-thinking process.”

The Town will be holding a variety of virtual events to collect public input for the Comprehensive Plan, including:

  • Town Hall Listening Session: Wednesday, October 21 @ 6:00 PM

  • Comprehensive Plan Virtual Open House: December 2020

The Town of Sykesville is also administering an online public survey for the Comprehensive Plan, open now through October 31. All residents, visitors, and stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the online survey, available at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/Sykesville
