[ARCHIVED] Zoning Text Amendment Request

The Sykesville Town Council conducted a Public Hearing on a zoning text amendment requested by the property owners of the Warfield Complex.  The proposed amendment is to the Planned Employment Center district and would increase residential density, provide additional permitted commercial uses, and reduce the required mixture of land uses within the zone.  The full zoning text amendment can be viewed at the Town House, on the Town’s website (www.townofsykesville.org) or via email.   The public hearing and all previous public meetings held pertaining to request are available for view on the Town of Sykesville Facebook and YouTube pages.  Comments can also be emailed to town@sykesville.net prior to the meeting. Please include your name and address in the email.   Questions?  Call 410-795-8959 or email town@sykesville.net.

The Town Council will consider the proposal and Ordinance NO. 2022-03 at their regular Council meeting on Monday, May 9, 2022.  This meeting will be held at the Town House and will begin at 7 PM
