Election May 2

Election Day is May 2, 2017. Polls are located at the Sykesville Town House, 7547 Main Street next to the Police Station. Polls will be open from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. on Election Day.

Meet ‘n Greet

A Meet ‘n Greet will be held with the Candidates on April 27 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. It will be at the Town House at 7547 Main Street. The public is invited to come and meet the Candidates!

Candidate Forum

A Candidate Forum was held on April 17. Candidates for both positions answered questions from the public. The Candidate Forum can be viewed on demand at http://www.carrollmediacenter.org/live-sykesville-municipal-elections-candidate-forum/. It can also be seen on local cable channel 23 throughout the days leading up to Election Day.

Absentee Ballots

Absentee Ballots may be obtained by contacting Kerry Chaney at kchaney@sykesville.net or at 410-795-8959 and requesting an absentee ballot application. Absentee ballots must be returned to the Town House before the polls close at 8 P.M. on May 2.
